Go to appointments

Come to the scans and antenatal visits when you can. You will hear the same information, can ask your own questions and will know the care team on the day.

Share the load

Tiredness and nausea can make everyday jobs harder. Take on whole tasks, such as cooking dinners or managing the bills, rather than waiting to be asked.

Plan your leave

Find out what your employer offers and how Parental Leave Pay can be shared. Some days are reserved for each parent.

Look after yourself

Becoming a parent is a big change for partners too. Talk to friends, your GP or MensLine on 1300 78 99 78 if you are struggling.
